D r. Bath has been honored by two of her universities. Hunter College placed her in its “hall of fame” in 1988 and Howard University declared her a “Howard University Pioneer in Academic Medicine” in 1993.  A picture book on her life and work in science was published in 2017, and was cited by both the National Science Teachers Association and the Chicago Public Library’s list of best children’s books of the year.
